Basket Festival in Polcenigo 2019

Also this year, as tradition wants, on the first Sunday of September there will be the Basket festival (Sagra dei Thest) in Polcenigo.

Now in its 346th edition, the Basket festival is an opportunity to rediscover the ancient crafts of the past and see basketmakers at work while they make baskets and other objects by hand with the ancient techniques of wicker weaving and other vegetable fibers.

During the event it will be possible to meet other artists and artisans of various kinds of objects and gastronomic stands with different food and wine products from the territory (cured meats, pitina, cheese, honey, oil and wine, etc.).
