Guided tour of Sacile and river excursion along Livenza

Sacile, a charming town in the Pordenone province, Friuli region, reminds you of wonderful Venice. It is no coincidence that Sacile is called “Giardino della Serenssima” (Garden of the Serenissima), for its elegant Venetian architecture, which reflects in the waters of Livenza river and its bridges and enchanting lanes.

A town of a interesting historical and artistic charm, indeed.

The tourist office Turismofvg organizes guided tours to discover and know this town. The guided tour is usually in Italian and English. If the requests reach a sufficient number, the tour is available also in German.

The guided tour duration is about 2 hours.

Tour fluviale sul Livenza visita guidata

The first hour and half is dedicated to the visit of the main monuments of Sacile: the sixteenth century Palazzo Ragazzoni with the magnificently frescoed interiors, Piazza del Popolo with the fifteenth century Loggia Municipale and Renaissance buildings, Piazza Duomo, the Chiesetta della Pietà (Little Church of the Pity), and the Ovio Gobbi and Carli palaces.

The visit is completed with the river excursion along the Livenza, on a boat reminiscent of Venetian gondolas.

The starting point is at infopoint of Sacile, in via Mazzini 11, at 10 o’clock.

The reservation is mandatory and needs to be done within 2 p.m. of the Friday before.

The guided tour costs € 10,00 per person, while it is free with FVG Card and for children under 10accompanied by paying adult.
