Nestled in a strategic position, the farm holiday bed & breakfast<\/strong> accommodation at Sacile<\/strong> is an excellent base for visiting Caneva Castle<\/strong><\/a>, Piancavallo<\/strong><\/a> and the Villa Varda Park at Brugnera. Nearby, Polcenigo<\/strong><\/a> is also worth a visit; hosting the San Floriano Park, the Gorgazzo and the Santissima i.e. the sources of the Livenza river and the pile-dwelling site at Pal\u00f9 acknowledged by UNESCO.<\/p>\n

The Cansiglio<\/strong><\/a> Forest, with its characteristic dairy farms, is only a few kilometres from the Farm house. The village of Cimbri and towns of Pordenone, Vittorio Veneto and Conegliano are also nearby. Trieste<\/strong><\/a>, Udine, Aquileia<\/strong><\/a>, Maniago, Barcis Lake, the Fruili Dolomites Park, the Santa Croce Lake, the Vajont Dam and the most famous seaside locations of the Veneto and Friuli regions such as Jesolo, Caorle, Bibione, Lignano Sabbiadoro<\/strong><\/a> and Grado<\/strong><\/a> can all be reached in less than one hour. A visit to the WWF nature reservation at Marano Lagunare is also a must.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″]\n

In fact, there are many cultural events in the area, amongst which the traditional Sagra dei Osei (Bird Festival) organised at Sacile<\/strong><\/a> on the first Sunday after Ferragosto (15th August, Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady) and the Sagra dei Sest (Basket Fair), which takes place at Polcenigo on the first week-end in September.<\/p>\n
