Spring Festival 2018 in Sacile

Sunday 8 April 2018 it takes place the Spring Festival of birds in Sacile, considered an anticipation of the know Bird Festival (Sagra dei Osei) of August.

The Spring Festival, has reached the 72th edition and its a veritable spring festival of plants, flowers and birds.

An event rich of colours, joy and entertainments involving visitors of all ages

On this occasion Piazza del Popolo becomes a real garden with flowerpots and garden flowers, shrubs, ornamental plants, vegetables and fruit trees. The program of the event is completed by Bonsai exhibition, bird song contest, concerts and shows.

Here an anticipation of the program:

Friday 6th April:

opening of the wine&food stands at 6 p.m.

Saturday 7th April:

opening of the wine&food stands at 10.30 a.m.

vintage carriage parade in collaboration with Serenissima Cavalli association at 4 p.m.

A parade that will take you back in time to the Belle Époque. At the end, the “theme clothes” 800 competition.

Inauguration of the XXXII Bonsai exhibition at 5.30 p.m.

Live music at Piazza del Popolo at 8 p.m.

Sunday 8th April:

Song contest at Ortazza gardens in Foro Boario (near the centre f Sacile) at 6.30 a.m.

Then at 10 a.m. why not partecipate to the guided tour of Sacile and canoeing trip along the Livenza river? (the reservation is mandatory and needs to be done within 6 April by calling the tourist office at 0039 0434 73 72 92)
